Tom Geraghty Tyres has sold alloy wheels since 1990 and became a Borbet distributor in the late 1990s, later adding Ronal. Both have OEM history with Mercedes, Audi, VW, Ford and Toyota. The wall now also holds Autec, Brock, RC Design, Dezent, Revolution and the old Alloy Wheel World stock under the same roof.

Four numbers before the colour
PCD, offset, centre bore and load rating. Get any of those wrong and the wheel either will not go on, will stress the hubs, or will sit too far inboard or outboard of the arch.

Fitting and balancing are included on wheels bought through this site when you collect at Grattan Quay. Ireland shipping is available at checkout only when the hub numbers are agreed.

Bigger is not always better on Waterford roads
Bigger diameter usually means a lower-profile tyre. That often looks better in a car park and rides worse on the river roads. The extra inch also costs a set of tyres, not just the rims. 17" or 18" on a family car is the range we fit most. 19" and 20" belong on cars that already left the factory that way, or on drivers who accept the trade.
Motorsport and replicas
Revolution and Speedline are the rally and historic lines. Mk2 Escorts and the Irish paddock. Replica faces exist. They only leave the quay when the PCD, ET and centre bore match. A pretty copy with the wrong offset is still a bad wheel.
